I'm a researcher and data analyst. My interests include government data systems, transparency, weapons, economic mobility, tech, occupational regulation and administrative regulation. Much of my research has focused on seizures and forfeitures, and my work has been cited by Justice Gorsuch, ProPublica, USA Today and other outlets.
I specialize in managing data processes and translating research into clear, actionable language. I've worked for Maryland's sentencing commission and at the Institute for Justice. Most recently, I worked at the Free State Foundation.
I live in Baltimore, MD. Things I love include playing with my pit bull mix, fitness, heavy metal, a great bargain like hosting this website on GitHub Pages for "free" and various hobby projects like making this site.
